MATCH PREVIEW

MAIN PREDICTION: AWAY WIN

Belgrano are still in one of the relegation spots. The team are now on six league matches without a win, having earned only three points during that time. They are coming off a scoreless draw away at the league's worst team, Argentinos Juniors, in a relegation six-pointer. Having secured only 14 points this term, El Pirata are currently four points from safety in the point-average table. They have managed only a single point from the last nine on offer at Gigante de Alberdi Stadium.

Boca Juniors have climbed into one of the Copa Libertadores spots on 31 points following a 2-0 home success over Godoy Cruz last weekend, thanks to goals from Dario Benedetto and Mauro Zarate. The result also means they haven’t lost any of the last six league matches, winning five and drawing one. That run includes three league games on the road, with El Xeneize grabbing seven points. They still have one league game in hand.

Boca Juniors are by far the stronger team here. An away win is on the cards.

SECOND PREDICTION: CORRECT SCORE – 0-2

Belgrano have failed to score in their last two league matches and Boca Juniors have scored two goals on average in their last four league fixtures. I think the visiting side will win 2-0 here.

HEAD TO HEAD

Boca Juniors have registered four consecutive wins over Belgrano in league action, with two of those taking place in Cordoba.
