Holland Jupiler League -- FC Eindhoven VS FC Utrecht (Youth)

Livescore | Match Prediction & Tips| Asian Handicap Odds|Line-ups& H2H Stats

FC Eindhoven's Alessio Carlone and Charni Ekangamene are doubtful.

Jong Utrecht will see Gabriel Culhaci returning from suspension but up to four players could still be still out. After producing prolific performances for the first team with three goals in two league games, Niels Venema is likely to remain with the first team for the time being.

FC Eindhoven

Suspended: None

Doubtful: Alessio Carlone, Charni Ekangamene (both unspecified)

Injured/Unavailable: None

Jong Utrecht

Suspended: None

Doubtful: Rayan El Azrak, Redouan El Yaakoubi (both unspecified)

Injured/Unavailable: Jeredy Hilterman (unspecified), Niels Venema (with first team)

FC Eindhoven posted an excellent 3-1 victory over Cambuur last time out, which represents just their fifth league win of the season. They have now overtaken RKC Waalwijk in the rankings to claim 15th place and have won three league matches in a row, scoring eight goals in the process, but two of those games were against bottom three sides Dordrecht and Helmond. Last week, Marcelo Lopes scored his third goal of the season in the third minute after outpacing the Cambuur defence. FC Eindhoven shipped an equaliser in the 20th minute, but Alvin Daniels gave his team the lead again four minutes later. Jarno Janssen then scored his first career goal to ensure victory as Eindhoven went 3-1 ahead in the 79th minute.

Jong Utrecht hosted Den Bosch last week and pulled off a very decent draw. Jonas Arweiler assisted Sylla Sow for the 1-0 after 20 minutes. The home team managed to hold off Den Bosch until the 75th minute but did allow the equaliser. Jong Utrecht have overtaken Helmond for 19th place and are equal on points with Dordrecht and Jong AZ Alkmaar with ten points from 16 league games.

FC Eindhoven have the league worst home record, having managed to clinch only five points from their seven home league matches. However, they are on a good run generally speaking and their three consecutive wins will have boosted morale. Furthermore, Jong Utrecht away from home are pure agony: A single draw in eight away league matches is all they have been able to accomplish and they are one goal shy of three goals conceded per away league game. I expect FC Eindhoven to reign victorious and with Jong Utrecht allowing the most league goals, this could be a big victory.

FC Eindhoven have scored two or more goals in each of their last three league matches, with all of those ending in high-scoring scorelines. I think we will witness plenty of total goals here too.

FC Eindhoven and Jong Utrecht have faced off only twice in league action on Eindhoven soil. Both times the hosts were the victors. Last season saw them book a commanding 5-2 win.
