James Weir, Jon Toral, Daniel Batty, Ondrej Mazuch and Stephen Kingsley could all miss this weekend’s league clash for Hull City. Angus MacDonald, who has a calf injury, is certainly out.

QPR’s Angel Rangel and Matt Smith are sidelined. The Londoners could also be without defender Geoff Cameron, who has an ankle issue.

Hull City

Hull City have been in patchy form of late, winning two, drawing one and losing four of their last seven league matches. In midweek, the Tigers lost 3-2 against league leaders Norwich at Carrow Road. Nigel Adkins’ side have been very strong at the KCOM Stadium in recent months, accumulating an impressive 22 points from a possible 24 in league action. Hull have scored exactly two goals in each of their last four league matches at home, winning three and drawing one.

QPR have had a topsy-turvy season so far. The Londoners make the trip to East Yorkshire having lost nine of their last 11 league games, along with one win and one draw. Steve McClaren’s men lost 2-1 against Rotherham at Loftus Road in midweek. Rangers have been abysmal away from home in the league lately, losing their last five and conceding ten in the process.

QPR have not won an away league game since beating Nottingham Forest 1-0 at the City Ground a few days before Christmas, and I can see them crashing to another away defeat this weekend. Back the Hull City win here.

Hull City have been leading at half time in each of their last six home league games, with five of those ending in wins. Put some money on the hosts to win the first half of this one.

Hull City edged a five-goal thriller when they met at Loftus Road in the league back in December, winning 3-2. Meanwhile, QPR have won only one of the last ten league meetings, drawing four and losing five.
