West Ham: Good home run (Recent Form: LWLWDD)

I had written about West Ham numeral times already, with how the club started the campaign really bad, which in some ways was more or less expected, having in mind that the new manager had just stepped in the job, as well as the club had a lot of injury problems during this period and the results were just not there, the players needed time to adapt to the new tactics and the manager also needed time to be able to find the best possible way to play given the players he had. But with the season progressing, the Hammers started to stabilize their performance little by little and despite not being in a really good shape recently as well, they managed to climb in the ranks in the last few months, currently being in the first half of the table, which should have been the minimum they would aim for, as now the other goal until the rest of the season is to move even further from the current ninth place in the table and attack even the seventh place, which in some ways could give a European football for next season. West Ham is currently on ninth place, four points behind eight Watford and five behind seventh Wolves, as without a doubt especially as of recently their bad away performance is the one keeping them that much behind these two sides. In the same time at home the club is unbeaten in their last six games in all competitions, collecting fourteen points in these matches (4-2-0). Sanchez, Yarmolenko and Wilshere remain out with injuries.

Huddersfield: Rock bottom (Recent Form: LLWLLL)

Huddersfield showed some slight improvement recently, but still remains rock bottom of the table and being sixteen points behind the safety zone only means that their season is over and they should concentrate on building a squad for the Championship next season, trying to attack the promotion again. The team lost sixteen of their last eighteen games in all competitions (1-1-16), as well as eight of their last nine visits (0-1-8), in which nine visits they were able to score just two goals. Diakaby, Mbenza and Williams are out with injuries.

The Betting Verdict:

West Ham should be winning this one rather easily, their problems are coming from their away matches, while at home the Hammers are performing more than good and against the rock bottom of the table they should get all the points.
