Ipswich will once again be without the injured Will Keane, Grant Ward, Jack Lankester, Ben Folami, Tom Adeyemi, Freddie Sears, Ben Morris and Jonathan Walters. Meanwhile, James Collins, Flynn Downes and Matthew Pennington are doubts.

Nottingham Forest also have their injury troubles, with Matty Cash, Tobias Figueiredo, El Arbi Hillel Soudani, Juan Rafael Fuentes, Michael Dawson and Michael Hefele all out.

Suspended: None

Doubtful: James Collins (knock); Flynn Downes, Matthew Pennington (both ill)

Injured/unavailable: Will Keane (knock), Grant Ward (knee), Jack Lankester (back), Ben Folami (Achilles); Tom Adeyemi (hamstring); Freddie Sears, Ben Morris, Jonathan Walters (all cruciate ligament)

Paul Lambert’s Ipswich, who drew 1-1 at Bristol City in midweek, have the worst home record in the English second division, winning just twice and picking up a dire 15 points along the way, with the other league matches ending in nine draws and seven losses. The Tractor Boys have not won at Portman Road in league action since beating Rotherham 1-0 back in mid-January, drawing twice and losing twice along the way. Rooted to the bottom of the table with only 23 points, Town will need a miracle to survive this season.

Nottingham Forest have improved of late, winning three, drawing two and losing only two of their last seven league matches, but their away form has been poor in England’s second division. Since a 2-0 win at Hull City in November, the Reds have failed to win any of their last nine league matches on the road (four losses, five draws). Meanwhile, Forest lost 3-1 against Aston Villa at the City Ground in midweek.

Nottingham Forest may have had their struggles on the road this season, but rock-bottom Ipswich are there for the taking. I can see the away side picking up all three points at Portman Road.

Nottingham Forest have kept clean sheets in all three of their away league wins this term, with two of those ending 2-0. I fancy a repeat scoreline this weekend.

Nottingham Forest have a good recent record over Ipswich, winning four and losing one of the last five league meetings.
